Ambulance Academy, LLC, (“Ambulance Academy” or “we” or “us”) respects the privacy of its customers, business partners and individuals whose personal information with which we are entrusted.

This Privacy Notice describes practices regarding the processing of personally identifiable information (“PII”) by Ambulance Academy, in connection with all of Ambulance Academy’s website(s) and associated subdomains and related mobile applications(collectively, the “Services”). Further, this notice describes how Ambulance Academy, and said Services may use and disclose your confidential health information, known as Protected Health Information (“PHI”), in the course of treatment, payment, or other health care operations and for other purposes authorized or required by law.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It:

Personal identification information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.

Users of Mobile Apps: We use background location. Background location is collected only if the driver has an active shift and working. It is used to show vehicles on the map / to provide you with accurate dispatching. Access to the app location is secured and restricted, access is granted only to authorized employees who use our management system. The data is not stored, and we never use your information for advertising purposes.

We also collect phone numbers of members who are signed up with your organization’s account. We use phone numbers collected solely for the purpose of delivering SMS alerts and reminders to users.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

How we protect your personal information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Non-personal identification information we collect

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Your Data Protection Rights

You have certain rights regarding protected health information that Ambulance Academy maintains about you.

• Right To Access Your Protected Health Information. You have the right to review or obtain copies of your protected health information records, with some limited exceptions. Your request to review and/or obtain a copy of your protected health information records must be made in writing. We may charge a fee for the costs of producing, copying and mailing your requested information, but we will tell you the cost in advance.

• Right To Amend Your Protected Health Information. If you feel that protected health information maintained by Ambulance Academy is incorrect or incomplete, you may request that we amend the information. Your request must be made in writing and must include the reason you are seeking a change. We may deny your request if, for example, you ask us to amend information that was not created by Ambulance Academy or you ask to amend a record that is already accurate and complete.
If we deny your request to amend, we will notify you in writing. You then have the right to submit to us a written statement of disagreement with our decision and we have the right to rebut that statement.

•Right To Opt-out of receiving SMS alerts at any time by replying “STOP” or by contacting us.

Additionally, you have the right to opt out of marketing communications we send you at any time. You can exercise this right by clicking on the “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” link in the marketing e-mails we send you.
